Important Pet-Safety Notes

  • Use natural, unsalted peanut butter containing only peanuts. Never use peanut butter containing xylitol.
  • Yogurt must be plain and unsweetened, with no artificial sweeteners. Some pets do not tolerate dairy, so yogurt may be replaced with plain pumpkin or additional pawTree Bone Broth.
  • Avoid grapes, raisins, chocolate, macadamia nuts, onions, garlic and artificially sweetened products.
  • Remove all fruit seeds, pits, stems and tough cores.
  • Treats should make up no more than approximately 10% of a pet's daily calories.
  • Make cat portions especially small. Cats are obligate carnivores, so the chicken, turkey, tuna, salmon and beef recipes will generally be most appealing to them.
  • Supervise pets while they enjoy frozen treats. Allow hard frozen shapes to soften briefly before serving, especially for small pets, senior pets or pets with dental concerns. Bowls recommended for frozen treats.
  • Introduce new ingredients gradually, particularly for pets with food sensitivities, allergies, pancreatitis or other medical conditions.
